- fuji. single speed 58 cm (light!) touring frame, alex rims. continental ultra sport 700 X 23c. w/ bridgestone bars. nice.
bikes i have rid.
~ KONA Shred. a beefy-ass mountain bike with tyres (written in the UK, therefore they're not tires) that are way too big for what i want out of them. repaired and left with lou in the isle of wight
~ Compass foldy bike. very sexy, in a nerd kind of way. (caribbean)
~ peugeot 70s touring bike. one gear commuter thing. 'prairy bike' style. given away. now called 'the orange ninja
~ VDC Changa BMX: shiny! given away.
~ Giant Yukon. mid-90s mtn bike. chro-moly in storage.
~ Raleigh Record. at the lake. one gear conversion. chop bars. in storage, under a tarp.
~ norco mountaineer. one gear conversion. chop bar. at the cabin (not the lake).
~ gramps: an Eaton's 'Glider' bike made in merry olde england. 28" wheels. great fenders. sold to j.leeming. and then stolen by some asshat, whilst he was at work.
~ sekine touring frame. one gear conversion. currently hooked up to the piggyback trainer. blue! sold!
~ hm. there are other works in progress.

it's a tough thing to watch this stuff. it's really fast and and kind of hard to see what is going on, but this footage is not controlled by the former attorney general's PR firm; it also says that the passenger in the motor vehicle left the scene of the accident before the police arrived. i can see how this incident could damage this guy's political career. it has certainly damaged a toronto cyclist and caught everyone's attention. i have heard the w… Continue

little did i know that there was this picturesque little ride awaiting when i cycled up to the Ontario Science Centre, but i think a reward for riding up that hill, and as a consolation prize instead of lunch with the magazine editor. the omnimax movie was $12 and a 50 minute wait so i opted to just ride, and LO, there was a sign directing me toward a lov… Continue

the drool had to be wiped away when i saw one in the coffee place. must've been a fixie, and the handlebars were scarcely wider than a person's hands. delicious. i have a bike with chopped bars and i get funny looks about that one, but this bike takes the cake.
perhaps it's good that i have not been able to procure a bike, somehow the riding on the left side i think might really screw me up. there is so much more… Continue
